Quality and Ethical Commitment
Traceability and responsibility are the foundation of our selection. We work exclusively with leathers sourced from by-products of the food industry or from regulated wildlife management programs in Canada. Most of our references are FURMARK certified, guaranteeing the most rigorous standards of quality and ethical sourcing.
Variety of Textures
The collection ranges from long-haired curly wools and double-face lamb (nubuck and wool), to unique leathers such as mink, sheared beaver, pekan, opossum, Canadian red fox, or pony. Maintenance and care
The value of a leather piece—whether natural fur or exotic—lies in its organic nature. To maintain its beauty, texture, and resilience over time, care must be an extension of its inherent quality.
- For Furs (Natural Fur)
The key is breathability and storage. Natural fur needs to "breathe": avoid storing it in plastic covers that can cause condensation; always use cotton or natural fabric covers that allow air circulation. Protect it from direct heat sources and prolonged exposure to sunlight, which can dry out the leather base and alter the fur's luster. Gentle brushing in the direction of the fur is recommended to maintain its vitality, and for any questions or deep cleaning, rely exclusively on fur specialists. - For Exotic Leathers
Hydration and protection are fundamental. Being more rigid structures (scales, nodules, or mineral textures), they are particularly susceptible to dehydration and cracking. It is essential to keep them in a stable humidity environment, away from radiators or extreme humidity. For daily maintenance, use a soft cotton cloth, slightly dampened if necessary, and avoid abrasive chemical products or generic creams not tested for exotics, as they can alter or remove their natural finish.
General Advice
For both fur and exotic pieces, the silent enemy is constant friction and contact with perfumes, cosmetics, or sweat. Conscious use and careful storage in a cool, dry, and dark place are the best investments to ensure the uniqueness of your piece remains intact.
