How we select our vintage and antique furniture
Curated vintage furniture is defined as much by the selection process as by the age of each piece. We look for furniture with distinctive proportions, quality materials and considered construction. We select pieces that bring character and individuality to both residential interiors and interior design projects.
Every piece is individual. Rather than building a collection around repeated designs, Curated evolves through the furniture we find and carefully decide to include.
The criteria behind our Curated selection
We select each piece individually. Design is important, but it is not the only consideration. We also look closely at materials, proportions and construction, as well as the character a piece has acquired over time.
These criteria allow different periods, forms and materials to coexist naturally within the same curated vintage furniture collection. What connects them is the strength and individuality of each piece. We also consider its ability to work naturally within an interior today.
Our Materials & Finishes section provides further information about the materials and finishes we work with and their role within our collections and projects.
Unique vintage furniture for interior design projects
Vintage furniture can introduce contrast, material depth and a different sense of time into an interior. For an interior designer, the dimensions and proportions of a piece are particularly important. Its relationship with the surrounding furniture and architecture also influences how naturally it works within a space.
Our curated vintage furniture can work as an individual focal point or alongside contemporary furniture. The right approach depends on the requirements, proportions and character of each project.
Explore our Curated vintage furniture collection
Our Curated collection includes different furniture typologies, from seating and tables to individual pieces selected for their particular form, material or construction.
As every item is unique, the collection evolves as pieces find their place in new interiors and others are added. Each product page provides specific dimensions, materials and details. This information helps assess how a piece could work within a particular interior or design project.
Restored vintage furniture, ready to ship
Every item in Curated is an existing vintage or antique piece rather than a design made to order. When restoration is required, the work is completed before the piece becomes part of our curated vintage furniture collection.
Curated pieces are unique and ready to ship. They cannot be reproduced or customised because they are existing pieces with their own materials, proportions and history. We do not offer changes to their dimensions, materials or finishes.
Choosing a Curated piece for your project
When choosing unique vintage furniture, we recommend starting with the dimensions of the space and the role the piece needs to play within it. Scale and proportions help determine whether a piece works naturally in the space. Its materials and relationship with surrounding furniture are equally important when considering the overall interior.

Lead times and worldwide shipping
We ship worldwide and prepare our furniture with reinforced packaging to protect each piece throughout transportation. The approximate lead time is six weeks plus transport.
For international projects, delivery times will also depend on the destination and the transport requirements of the individual piece.
Frequently asked questions
What is Curated vintage furniture?
Curated vintage furniture is vintage and antique furniture selected according to specific criteria rather than assembled as a general collection. At JoverValls, we consider design, materials, proportions, construction and character when selecting each piece.
Are all Curated pieces unique?
Yes. Each Curated item is an individual vintage or antique piece. It is not part of a production series and cannot be reproduced as an identical model.
Is Curated vintage furniture restored?
When restoration is necessary, the work is completed before the furniture is offered within the Curated collection. This ensures that any required restoration has already been addressed before the piece is available.
Can Curated pieces be customised?
No. Curated pieces are existing vintage and antique furniture, so we do not modify their dimensions, materials or finishes. Each piece is offered with the characteristics that make it individual.
Is Curated vintage furniture ready to ship?
Yes. Curated pieces are ready to ship. We prepare them with reinforced packaging to protect each item during transportation and can arrange worldwide shipping.
