Product Features:
The chaise longue features a steel frame inspired by Bauhaus designs from the 1920s. Its flawless surface finish and exceptional durability are achieved through precision-moulding the steel using numerical control technology, followed by a four-stage hand-finishing process: polishing, nickel plating, electrolytic colour application and matt lacquering. The premium-quality bovine leather, sourced from the food industry, undergoes a chrome-free vegetable tanning process. The leather components are made with double-layered leather, allowing a layer of cotton to be incorporated into the centre for greater consistency, while the leather edges are sanded, painted and polished to achieve a smooth, carefully finished surface. The incorporation of JoverValls’ characteristic turned brass screws adds a distinctive touch. The solid brass base glides, or ferrules, feature a layer of natural leather on the underside to prevent scratches or scuff marks on surfaces.
